The Masonic Homes of California's Union City community occupies a beautiful wooded 305-acre hilltop site. This campus currently offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, secure Alzheimer's/Dementia care and hospice to approximately 300 residents.

Created for Masons, the Acacia Creek project is a new Continuing Care Retirement Community of 193 residential units to be built on 10.5 acres of the campus and will include a restaurant and commercial kitchen, assembly space, a recreational facility, and outdoor amenities.

Construction commenced in September of 2007 and completion is anticipated for October of 2009.

SAN FRANCISCO FRIENDS SCHOOL—San Francisco, CA
Historic rehabilitation and conversion of the Levi Strauss manufacturing plant on Valencia Street into a K-8 school building.

San Francisco Friends School is an independent co-educational school that combines rigorous academics with Quaker values of simplicity, silent reflection, service to others, and peaceful problem solving.

This project involves the seismic improvement and conversion of the manufacturing plant into a school building. The building is to include classrooms, a gymnasium, a black box theatre, and internal parking.

Construction commenced in the spring of 2007 and will be completed in the summer of 2008.
